FirstNet Adviser help

Client Information

Why is my client’s information different on FirstNet when compared to the CommSec (ATC) website?

The information provided by the FirstNet Adviser share trading service is not designed to be an exact replica of their details as displayed on the CommSec ATC site.

Differences will include:

  1. Transactions:

FirstNet displays transactions which change a registered holding on the ASX. In contrast, the ATC website will show transactions based on financial movements in and out of trading accounts. As such some transactions which appear on the ATC website will not be displayed on FirstNet and vice versa.

  2. Dividends:

The dividends shown on the FirstNet site represent the actual dividends paid to your client. Dividends displayed on the ATC website may differ as they are a representation of dividend entitlements i.e. they are calculated using existing share holdings and therefore not necessarily the holding at the time the dividend was paid.

  3. Timing:
Share information on FirstNet is updated each evening after a trading day and is not in real time. This means transactions seen on the website FirstNet will be T+1.
